Center for Atmospheric Research - Boulder, CO
Located
in Boulder, Colorado just off of Highway 93 on the south side of the
city. The National Center for Atmospheric Research complex, or NCAR,
is a national laboratory responsible for things such as global weather
patterns, hurricane forecasting, and global temperature analysis.
The center is also home to a educational resource center, outdoor weather
trail, supercomputing center, interactive science exhibits, and self-guided
or guided tours. This is your chance to visit a national laboratory
where scientists study weather and climate issues affecting the earth.
